SUMMARY:
Our client which manufactures tissue based hygiene products at their factories in Kempton Park requires the services of a electrical & instrumentation engineer
This role will be reporting to the Engineering and maintenance manager, to lead and manage the electrical and instrumentation team. Responsible for electrical and instrumentation, safety systems, maintenance, and repairs of electrical equipment within the manufacturing facilities in line with the company's overall objectives. The individual will play role is asset care development plans and take lead on electrical and instrumentation scope of work on projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum qualification of a B Eng/BSc Eng degree
At least 5+ years’ experience as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer within the manufacturing or FMCG environment, pulp and paper manufacturing experience will be advantage.
Experience
Experience in MCC and specification LV and MV reticulation
Understand local standards SANS, OSHA and Electrical
Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs and associated
hardware would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Fieldbus and Industrial Communication protocols such as Profibus DP/PA, Profinet and
Ethernet/IP would be advantageous.
Prior experience in Control and Instrumentation procurement, installation/construction
Commissioning and operations of all related C&I systems/components required.
Ability to review and provide input on Electrical Engineering documentation and drawings (such as
control schematics) would be strongly advantageous.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Engage with E&I and Control consulting engineers and manage them should the requirements arise
Attend FAT’s for E&I and projects
Lead and coordinate SAT for E&I projects
Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a team and knowledge sharing environment.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a practical approach to solving engineering problems.
Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
