SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing sector is an Electrical & Mechanical Technician to join their team. The incumbent will maintain, repair, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems across production, packaging and site-wide equipment

POSITION INFO:
Key requirement

Valid driver's license (code 10 with PDP) required for on site travel
Relevant qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

Key responsibility

Electrical systems maintenance& repair, diagnose electrical faults on production
Maintain and upgrade electrical panels, wiring sensors and control systems
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
Mechanical systems maintenance & repair, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on production lines, conveyors, pumps, motors and packaging equipment
Perform mechanical adjustments and replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance
Preventative maintenance
Installation and commissioning
Safety compliance
Record keeping
