Electrical Construction Supervisor - George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
A well-established company in George is looking for an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join their team.

The main objective of this role is planning, management and execution of all construction work for various construction activities within the scope of works of each project.

Requirements:

• Qualified, SETA accredited Red Seal Electrician
• Jointing & Termination attendance course
• 5-6 years electrical industry experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Compliance with technical project specifications in terms of installation work
• Execution of all tasks assigned by Construction Manager or Project Manager
• Following correct application processes to ensure suitable production timeframes are met
• Responsible for time management of construction processes, staff, plant & equipment related to construction work
• Submission of accurate, relevant & complete daily log sheets for vehicles, timesheets and description of project activities (completed and pending) for himself, semi-skilled & unskilled workers
• Updating project As-build drawings on daily basis and submission of final As-build drawings on completion of project or tasks
• Daily feedback to Construction managers in relation to the status of projects or tasks
• Responsible for the daily management of materials on site, including management of material levels, requests for new material by submitting relevant documents to Head Office & timeous return of unused materials to Head Office
• Daily documentation & reporting on actual quantities installed on site
• Identification & installation of all material components according to SANS specifications and compliance with O&E installation processes.
• Ensure work carried out by semi-skilled & unskilled workers are up to project
• Responsible for daily upkeep of Health & Safety registers
• Ensure all staff on site (including himself) adheres to Health and Safety regulations
