The Role:

 

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Constructions Supervisor for a Fixed Term Contract with our client in Richards Bay.  

 

We require your extensive working knowledge of LV MV Switchgear, Transformers and MV LV Motors.

 

We are looking for your project management, design, installation and commissioning work experience in the construction industry.

 

Minimum educational level:

• N6 or equivalent

 

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 Yearsâ?? experience in the heavy industry or projects supervision
• LV MV cable installations
• Installation and commissioning of LV MV Switchgear
• Installation and commissioning of Transformers
• Installation and commissioning of MV LV Motors
• Understanding of PLCs
• Understanding of SANS 10142 or related IEC standards
• Leadership and troubleshooting

 

Skills and Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Supervision of electrical installation and commissioning contractors
• Ensuring electrical healthy and safety rules are followed
• Helping in the commissioning and troubleshooting
• Ensure all drawing are issued and construction done in accordance to them or amendments
