SUMMARY:
Do you have experience working in the Petrochemical, Mining or water treatment Industries? Here is a great opportunity for an Electrical Design Draughtsman to join a consulting firm working on exciting projects in South Africa. You will be responsible for Electrical Drawings, P & IDs, Schematics and Isometrics.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for preparation of Drawings from design to As Built phase

Background working on water treatment plants, petrochemical Industry, or Mining projects is ideal

2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings and knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D

Client Liaison and conducting of measurements on site

Administrative duties including management and filing of project folders

Skills & Experience:

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Drafting formats, SLD, Schematic/GA, P & IDs, Isometrics

Experience working with AutoCAD 2014, AutoCAD Plant 3D

Experience using AutoCAD Electrical is advantageous

Able to work independently

Minimum 3 – 6 years’ experience

Qualification:

BTech/NDip Electrical Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
