SUMMARY:
Great opportunity has emerged to join a distinguished international company as an Electrical Design Engineer. In this Opportunity, you will be collaborating with highly skilled senior Electrical Design Engineers, where your focus will be based on developing innovative Electrical System Designs and Components.

POSITION INFO:

Electrical systems design, using 3D CAD and 2D schematic software

Cost saving design implementations and ease of installation

Working together with suppliers on designs

3D wiring design, experience with Siemens NX will be advantageous

Electrical component integration

Managing project lines

Ensuring designs meet supplier and regulatory requirements

Evaluating scope of work

Skills & Experience:

Computer literacy (Advanced Excel)

Ability to work independently and part of a team

Excellent task management skills

Preparing bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Attention to detail

Work independently and part of a team

Computer literacy (Advanced Excel)

Must be open to overseas travel

Min. of 2 – 5 years’ experience

Qualification:

B Eng. / BSc. / B Tech Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

Valid drivers’ license and own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
