SUMMARY:
Great opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a world class company. The ideal candidate is ambitious, innovative and highly enthusiastic about electrical design. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative electrical system designs and components.

POSITION INFO:

Electrical systems design, using 3D CAD and 2D schematic software

Working with various engineering teams on design specifications and requirements

Experience working on Siemens NX is advantageous

Electrical component integration

OEM design experience is an advantage

Managing project lines

Ensuring designs meet supplier and regulatory requirements

Evaluating scope of work

Cost saving design implementations and ease of installation

Working together with suppliers on designs

Skills & Experience:

Computer literacy (Advanced Excel)

Preparing bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Attention to detail

Work independently and part of a team

Excellent task management skills

Computer literacy (Advanced Excel)

Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a design role

Qualification:

B Eng. / BSc. / B Tech Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

Valid drivers’ license and own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
