SUMMARY:
A leading engineering company based in Cape Town is looking for a brilliant, well-rounded individual with positive energy to join their vast and dynamic company. This candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently, with a passion for Electrical Designing.

POSITION INFO:

Vehicle Electrical Systems Design including 3D Wiring design

Electrical Component Integration

Prepare bills of materials and 3D assemblies (Unigraphics NX)

Product data management

Conduct concept and design reviews

Ensure designs meet supplier and regulatory requirements

Assess results for comparison against customer requirements and design standards

Liaise with suppliers on designs ‘Liaise with other engineering disciplines and teams

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Electrical Designing position

3D CAD (Siemens NX advantageous)

2D Schematic software knowledge

Automotive OEM Design Advantageous

Schematics Design in Mentor Graphics Vesys advantageous

Attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills

Qualification:

BEng Degree OR

BTech Degree in Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
