About the Position

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Designer (E-Plan) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical control concepts for automation systems, producing detailed bills of materials, and documenting designs using E-Plan P8 software. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, applicable industry standards, and control panel design to ensure the efficient and successful execution of company projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Development of control concepts for Automation systems based on RFQ's. Develop detailed bill of materials from control concepts. Document the control concept in E-Plan software. Continually improve design philosophy based on international and local electrical standards. Apply electrical principals to ensure sound operation of company projects. Requirements: Matric National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) advantageous 3 + Years' experience in E-Plan version P8 Strong understanding of electrical processes and knowledge of SANS 10142 Electrical panel building skills Intermediate Excel proficiency Driver's License and own transport essential Flexible and able to work overtime on short notice
