SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsman to join our dynamic team.
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software, and supporting the engineering team with project documentation and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and layouts as per engineering specifications.
- Interpret technical designs and create accurate drafts using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineers and Project Managers to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Update and maintain documentation as per project changes and revisions.
- Ensure that all drawings meet industry codes, regulations, and internal quality standards.
Requirements:- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:- Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential electrical projects.
- Knowledge of local electrical standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with Revit, EPLAN, or similar electrical design tools.
