Electrical Draughtsman

SUMMARY:
Here is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Draughtsman to join a leading consultancy in Cape Town. Use your draughting and detailing skills to work on Electrical, Mechanical, building and large-scale renewables projects.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible to ensure layouts conform to requirements and quality standards

Preparation of drawings according to standard practice

Must have the ability to read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings

Required to work closely with a team of engineers and other technical assistants

Must be self – motivated and be able to work independently

Skills & Experience:

Must have excellent draughting skills

Must have experience in detailing and scheduling

Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D and Revit

BIM experience will be advantageous

Experience in draughting and detailing on Electrical, Mechanical, Building and/or Large-scale renewables projects

Minimum 5 years’ experience

Qualification:

Multi-disciplinary draughting qualification

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
