SUMMARY:
Use your wide range of experience in substations and HV line design to work on large scale challenging projects for one of the leading nationwide consulting engineering firms.

POSITION INFO:

Work on large scale projects in the Solar, Wind and BESS industry

Run projects from conception to close out

Carry out concept and detail line design, HV Line design and substation design

Design of substation

Client liaison, attend client and site meetings

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4-5 years specific electrical engineering experience

Experience with PLSCADD and/or POLE pertaining to line designs

DIGSilent experience (Beneficial)

Experience in designing and managing similar large-scale projects

Competent in all aspects of electrical engineering surrounding HV lines

Background in consulting engineering

Excellent written and verbal English ability

Working as part of a team, but being able to function independently, setting goals and meeting strict deadlines

Qualification:

BEng/BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering

Professionally registered with ECSA or having submitted application to ECSA already

Software skills and software experience

Autocad

PLSCADD or similar

DIGSilent

Autogrid pro

Microsoft office package

Knowledge of integrating different software packages

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
