Our leading client in the manufacturing industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ an Electrical Engineer.

Main purpose of the position:

To ensure all electrical and electronic equipment is maintained through supervision, improvement projects, problem solving and maintenance.

Â

Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in the Plant
Oversee electrical breakdowns and problem solving
Supervise Electrician and Electronic Technician
Ensure Company legal compliance wrt Electrical engineering
PLC troubleshooting
Additional Engineering responsibilities including, but not limited to
Fire protection
Forklift management
Air compressor and air conditioner maintenance

Education and Experience:

Completed National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Supervisory experience
