Our leading client in the manufacturing industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ an Electrical Engineer.

Main purpose of the position:

• To ensure all electrical and electronic equipment is maintained through supervision, improvement projects, problem solving and maintenance.

Â

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in the Plant
• Oversee electrical breakdowns and problem solving
• Supervise Electrician and Electronic Technician
• Ensure Company legal compliance wrt Electrical engineering
• PLC troubleshooting
• Additional Engineering responsibilities including, but not limited to
• Fire protection
• Forklift management
• Air compressor and air conditioner maintenance

Education and Experience:

• Completed National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Supervisory experience
