SUMMARY:
Here is a great opportunity for a professionally registered Electrical Engineer to join a leading consultancy in Cape Town. Work on exciting large-scale projects within the Renewables and BESS Industry, where you will be responsible for Substation and HV Lines design and project management.

POSITION INFO:

Work on large scale renewables projects (Solar, Wind) and BESS Industry

Be involved in feasibility and concept stages of projects

Detail Design and follow-up of execution

Working with an encouraging team environment

Supervision and project management of large-scale projects

Skills & Experience:

Must have experience with PLSCADD and/or POLE for Line design

Digisilent experience will be adv

Experience with Design and Management of large-scale projects

Must be proficient in Electrical design and draughting software

Electrical design experience of substations and HV lines and report writing

Electrical consulting engineering experience is ideal

Must be an excellent communicator, written and verbal

Ability to work part of a multi-disciplinary team

Supervision and project management of large-scale projects

Must be computer literate (Excel, word)

Experienced with AutoCAD, PLSCADD, Digisilent, Autogrid Pro

Qualification:

B Eng/BSc Electrical Engineering

Must be Professionally Registered

Valid drivers’ license and own transport

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
