Job Summary
Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support their Design Engineer with various tasks related to product design, modifications, certification, documentation, and quality control. During this 6-month internship, the assistant will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment by assisting with creating and updating engineering drawings, managing product changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining organized records. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate eager to apply their knowledge and develop practical skills in manufacturing engineering.
Required Qualifications & Skills
·Bachelor''s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
·Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar applications).
·Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
·Basic knowledge of product certification processes and quality control principles is advantageous.
·Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
·Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
·Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
· Internship or prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

·Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
·Strong understanding of electronics, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and electrical components.
·Knowledge of circuit design, troubleshooting, and assembly processes.
·Familiarity with schematic diagrams and electronic testing equipment.
·Ability to interpret technical specifications and industry standards.
·Experience with electronic prototyping and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
·Assist in creating, modifying, and updating engineering drawings using CAD software.
·Support product change processes, including documentation and implementation.
·Assist in product certification by compiling necessary technical documentation and liaising with certification bodies.
·Maintain and organize engineering files, technical records, and documentation.
·Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards.
·Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve technical issues.
·Assist in process improvements and product development initiatives.
·Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
·Perform other engineering-related tasks as assigned by the Design Engineer.
·Assist with technical enquiries from customers.
