Electrical Foreman

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities across our heavy industrial projects.

POSITION INFO:
The Role:
As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site-based electrical teams, ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, liaising with Project Managers, contractors, and health & safety officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on heavy industrial sites.
• Coordinate and manage Electricians and electrical subcontractors.
• Interpret electrical drawings and ensure that work is completed to the design and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and site safety regulations.
• Plan daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
• Communicate with Engineers, Project Managers, and other trades on project progress.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, PPE, and electrical testing equipment.
• Complete daily reports, timesheets, and materials requisitions.

• Recognised Electrical Trade qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Red Seal, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/Foreman role.
• Proven experience in heavy industry sectors such as mining, oil & gas, power generation, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, MCCs, control panels, and PLC wiring).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
