Electrical Foreman

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for an Electrical Foreman in the Rustenburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• Be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Engineering Studies
• Hold a relevant / valid Artisan Trade certificate and Statement of Results / Gap Analysis (RPL)
• Hold a Foreman Certificate
• Have at least 5 years’ relevant experience as an Artisan
• Previous underground mining and engineering experience, especially Conventional Shafts
• Winder, Chairlift, Conveyor Belt and Underground Railbound Equipment Experience
• Be in possession of a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Computer Literate in full MS Office Suite
• Completed law and technical abilities syllabus and assessments in the foreman’s certificate program will be advantageous
• Completed the managerial syllabus in a Foreman Certificate Program will be advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP will be ideal
• RCA and Failure Analysis experience will be advantageous

KPAs:

• Planned maintenance
• Ensure equipment is available
• Technical support to other sections
• Assist in long term planning
• Ensure team is trained on applicable systems
• Legal compliance
• Reports completed to required standard
• Management systems and controls are in place
