SUMMARY:
Electrical Inspector Power Generation Western Cape Ã¢Â€Â“ Cape Town - Rate paid per hour

POSITION INFO:

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector who will be used on an Adhoc /Call out basis to
witness and sign off Test Witness reports for a client based in Cape Town.

The successful applicant duties include but is not limited to:
-Confirm and verify that the tests are being done according to the recommended standards
-Sign and witness Test witness reports
-Verification of Quality checks performed
-Transformer Testing and Maintenance

Must have Extensive knowledge of:
-Voltage ratio measurement, junction group and polarity verification
-Winding DC Resistance testing- Short-circuit impedance and load loss measurement
-Temperature rising test.
-No-load loss and no-load current measurement (including harmonic measurement of no-load current)
-Transformer oil test.

Minimum Requirements:
-A Minimum of 4 Years Work Experience in transformer testing and maintenance
-B-Tech Electrical Engineering or similar tertiary qualification
-No criminal record
