Cape Town based company. International offices. Our client is looking for a lead engineer to manage a team of electrical/mechatronic design engineers whilst assisting with product design. Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer with more than 10 Years experience. Must have a passion to stay involved in the design field.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

LEAD ELECTRICAL/MECHATRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER

Cape Town

Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronic Engineer with at proven leadership skills needed.

SA division is the design hub for Product Development. Will be developing/designing of commercia products and sub-systems. Designs from first principles as well as improvement on existing Products.

Requirements:

B.Eng. or B.Sc. or BTech degree in either Electrical or Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering
10 years+ design experience

Responsibilities:

Directs and guides design engineers on technical related issues
Manage project / task time lines to ensure that agreed milestones are met.
Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules
Lead design reviews with the customer and suppliers
