Electrical Project Engineer

SUMMARY:
An electrical engineering firm in Nelspruit is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer.

POSITION INFO:
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing electrical engineering projects from conception through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for projects in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and report on performance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a project engineering role, preferably in electrical or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Proficiency with CAD software and relevant design tools.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
