SUMMARY:
A well-established electronics manufacturing, import and distribution company specializing in the production and sales of process control instrumentation and calibration equipment for various industries requires an External Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise regarding the equipment as well as proactively selling the equipment to the various industries

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Maintaining and improving sales in responsible area and meeting sales targets

Grow customers and develop new customers

Creating and conducting marketing proposals and technical presentations

Generating new prospects through marketing, presentations and networking activity.

Preparing costing, determining margin as well as preparing pricing schedules.

Conferring with existing and potential customers, industry bodies and other relevant individuals and organisations to identify needs and match these to the company''s capabilities

Running trials in factories with technical support in order to proactively identify solutions and new opportunities to sell specialist instrumentation and services

Compiling proposals and quotes for relevant decision makers

Utilize and maintain CRM data base

Qualifications:

Qualification in Electrical / Electronic/Process Engineering

Formal Sales Training

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Relevant experience in installing, connect, commission, repair and maintenance on plant rotating equipment

Technical project and maintenance

Knowledge of CRM Essential

Knowledge of Business and Sales Principals Essential

Excellent Business Communication and Writing Skills

Excellent Time Management such as Planning and Organising
