Electrical Technical Manager

Our client, a leading electrical services company, specializing in the electrical projects and maintenance fields, specifically in the petro-chem maintenance and construction, seeks to employ a qualified and suitable candidate for their operation in East Rand, Johannesburg.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES A CANDIDATE WITH A STRONG BACKGROUND IN TECHNICAL PROJECT PLANNING, SCHEDULING, TEAM MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Requirements to meet for consideration:

• You will have completed a trade test as Electrician, coupled with a valid wireman’s license.
• You will have at least 8 years working experience in the electrical, construction or a technical environment. where you have held a supervisory or management role and been the lead in facilitating, planning, and scheduling multiple projects and multiple teams.
• You must be up to date with industry regulations and current trends in electrical contracting
• In addition, you will have proven experience in working within a customer service led environment while ensuring compliance with company and clients job management process, as well as coordinating materials correctly per project and always ensure high quality levels of workmanship
• You will have solid working knowledge of operational planning, as well as pricing tenders, HSE compliance and project planning.
• You will be high energy, have excellent communication skills, be able to take ownership of your branch’s quality management on site
