Electrical Technician – Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking to appoint, a vibrant, energetic, experienced, and trainable electrical artisan to join our maintenance crew.

Key Deliverables:

• Design and specification of motor control centres.
• Installation, commissioning, and testing of motor control systems.
• Testing and maintenance of MV systems – switchgear, transformers and RMU’s.
• Testing and maintenance of protecting system
• Primary and secondary injection testing
• Testing and maintenance of LV Circuit breakers.
• Installation, testing, and servicing of UPS’s.
• Excellent understanding and experience of project pricing.
• Knowledge and understanding of PLC programming and fault-finding.

Requirements:

• Minimum B-Tech Electrical Heavy Current plus 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Minimum ND: Electrical Heavy Current plus 11 years of post-qualification experience.
• Registration with ECSA - Added Advantage.
• Project Management Qualification - Added Advantage.
• ORHVS Certificate - Must Have.
• Minimum 8 years post qualification work experience - Must Have.
• Drivers Licence - Must Have.
