SUMMARY:
A temporary opportunity exists for an Electrical Technician (automation) on a 2-3 months contract basis, with the possibility of going permanent.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

- Building and wiring of electrical panels.

- Electrical Fault finding and Problem solving.

- Knowledge of PLC’s and PCI based IO systems.

- VFD’s , Servomotors, Stepper motors and wiring onto automation machines.

- Drawing and maintaining electrical drawings and provision of Bills of Materials.

- Specifying and sourcing of electrical products and components.

- Building and setup of PC’s. Knowledge of PC hardware, windows and linux required.

- Customer telephonic support and problem solving.

- Generating and maintaining electrical knowhow guides.

- Circuit board assembly.

- Maintaining the machinery backup system on company server.

Requirements:

- Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering

- 2-3 years'' relevant working experience

- Knowledge of PCs, hardware, Linux and Windows

- Valid drivers'' license (travelling when necessary)
