We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer with strong electrical draughting experience to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical engineering projects from design through to completion, ensuring compliance with technical standards, timelines, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects from concept, design, and documentation through to installation and commissioning
- Produce, review, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Perform electrical design calculations and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with procurement, technical evaluations, and project planning
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and commissioning support
- Ensure quality control, safety, and project documentation are maintained
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer
- Strong electrical draughting experience (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software)
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and installations
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
