SUMMARY:
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards. The role ensures proper system integration, fault resolution, and quality workmanship across assigned projects.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with applicable codes.
Ensure system integration and engineering alignment on relevant projects.
Install meters and obtain required verification codes.
Build and wire electrical panels.
Install and configure network and RS485 communication systems.
Perform fault finding and rectify identified issues.
Supervise installation activities where required.
Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timelines.

Qualifications

Matric Certificate
N6 Electrical qualification or similar
Trade Test certification
Wireman’s licence advantageous

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
Minimum 2 years of project experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
