JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for an Electrician in the Durban area.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Minimum N3 (in the respective trade)
Trade Test (electrical)
5 years post-trade test relevant experience
Willingness to work overtime and be on standby duty
Successful candidate must also have their own transport
Knowledge and competent in the use and programming of PLCs

Duties:

Diagnose and repair faults on low voltage transformers and equipment
Inspect, test, maintain and commission high voltage transformers
Maintain AC drive units
Repair three phase AC motor control gear
