Electrician HT - Plant (Section 13/Section 26d)
POSITION INFO:
A local mine around Rustenburg is looking for a Section 13/Section 26(d) Electrician HT with Plant experience responsible to safely install, maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment and machinery. Requirements:
Grade 12/ STD 10 / NQF Level 4 is essential. A recognised Electrical Trade qualification (Section 13/26D) is essential OR Proof of recognised completed apprenticeship (completed by means of effluxion of time) AND NTC2 (Relevant Trade Theory) Qualification is essential. Completed HT Modules / Training Program. Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician is essential.
Minimum 2 years’ experience is essential on the following: MV (33 kV & 6.6 kV) cable installation, termination, fault finding & repairs. Construction, installation, operation and maintenance of MV electrical networks including switchgear and overhead lines. Substation maintenance MV testing equipment. Knowledge on LV and MV transformers. Computer literacy would be an advantage. Valid Code 8 drivers licence. Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such certificate.
