SUMMARY:
Seeking a top-notch Electrician with PLC and preferably Wireman''s license. Red Seal Electrician (Section 13 or 26D0 essential. 3-5 Years experience in manufacturing or industrial work.

POSITION INFO:

VACANCY: Electrician (PLC)

Requirements:

Red Seal Installation Electrician (Section 13 or 26D) – Essential.
Wireman’s License (Registered with Dept. of Employment and Labour) – Essential.
National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial work.
Strong knowledge of SANS 10142-1 and South African electrical regulations.
Proficient with testing instruments (multimeter, insulation tester, loop tester).
Advantage: Solar PV installation knowledge and software.

Key Duties:

Install, maintain and commission electrical systems, wiring and DB boards.
Issue and sign Certificates of Compliance (CoCs).
Perform inspections, testing and fault-finding under pressure.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Ensure compliance with OHS Act and company safety protocols.
Liaise with clients and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.
