Electrician/Electrical Technician

SUMMARY:
Established company in Somerset-West seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to join their team. The projects will be based in Western-Cape, Africa (Tanzania, Botswana) and the Netherlands. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, components and equipment. Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

Western Cape / West Coast
The company is based in Somerset-West, but travelling to projects are essential.
Salary: R15 000 - R30 000 (when in Somerset West)
When travelling, additional benefits apply

Will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, components and equipment. Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as an Electrical Technician/Electrician
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Passport
• No Criminal Record
• Relevant Technical qualification in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety procedures
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
