SUMMARY:
Great opportunity to join a world class engineering consultancy that prides itself on being sustainable and technologically driven. As the Electronic Building Services Technician, you will be responsible to carry out the full spectrum of electronic services design and site inspections.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for electronic building services design

Project management

Financial reports for projects

Meeting with manufacturers and suppliers

Site investigation for electronic services

Attending project meetings for client requirements

Providing cost estimates

Detail drawings and designs for electronic services

Specifications and tender documentation

Compiling bill of quantities

Must be willing to travel

Skills & Experience:

Experience in structured cabling and network design (compulsory)

Experience in security systems like CCTV and access control design

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

IT Design

Ability to meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Experience in smoke detection, voice evacuation and gas suppression systems

Experience in building management and monitoring system design

Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in electronic design for building services

Qualification:

BTech/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Qualification in Green building design (advantageous)

SAQCC, CDCDP, uptime (advantageous)

Valid drivers’ license

Professional registration as Technician (advantageous)

Revit MEP Services competency (advantageous)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
