SUMMARY:
The Electronic Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of electronic systems for the product range, ensuring innovation, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. The role includes managing hardware, firmware, and software integration, supporting production, and promoting continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electronic systems and embedded solutions.
Manage board-level requirements (power, signal integrity, interface specs).
Integrate and validate hardware, firmware, and software to meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
Conduct testing, debugging, and compliance verification (EMC, environmental, safety).
Support production teams with technical guidance and documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and company safety policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
2–5 years’ experience in firmware, hardware, or software design.
Intermediate proficiency in electronic and embedded system design.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Must be eligible to work in South Africa and willing to travel occasionally.
