SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for an Electronic Engineer. The company produces products for application in the Military, Mining and Railway environment. The company provide unique products and world-wide solutions within the HVAC design and manufacturing field. This person we require will manage and execute functional design tasks or activities as per Company requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Electronic Engineer
Location: Pretoria
Salary Range: TBA

Minimum Qualification:

B.Eng. / B.Tech. in Electronic / Computer Engineering
3+ Years’ analog and digital circuit board design experience
3+ Years’ PIC microcontroller programming experience in 8 bit & 32-bit processors
Control software design in C/C++
Electrical / Electronic troubleshooting
Microsoft Office (Word & Excel – Intermediate)
Altium PCB Designer (Advanced)
MPLABX (Advanced)
MPLAB Harmony (Intermediate)
Technical reporting ability
Time management ability

Advantageous:

XC32 and C18 Compiler experience
Electronic / Electrical system design experience
Electrical harness design experience
Knowledge of HVAC control
Knowledge in three-phase and medium voltage systems
Knowledge of military wire sizes and current capacities
Surface mount components soldering (Proto)
