POSITION INFO:
Electronic Equipment testing, Fault finding and repairs, Electronic Test Equipment Test Bench development (hardware and software) and documentation, Technical Report writing Acceptance Test Procedure and Test Report development.

Responsibilities:

• Electronic equipment
• Acceptance Testing
• Fault finding and repairs
• Operational and Qualification testing
• Technical Report writing after various tests
• Test Bench development (hardware and software)
• Acceptance Test Procedure and Acceptance Test Report development
• PCB Soldering
• Equipment assembly and testing

• B-Tech/National Higher Diploma
• Some form of IPC training (preferable)

• MS Office
• Python/C/C++
• CAD (e.g. Altium/ Proteas/Easy EDA, etc) (preferable)

• Electronics
• Reading and understanding circuit diagrams
• Fault finding and repairs
• Electronics components identification
• Knowledge of how to use measuring instruments
• Knowledge of electronics communication (e.g. CAN, RS232, RS485, RS422, ETHERNET, etc)
• Technical Report writing ability
• Basic coding/programming skill
• Knowledge and understanding of how to write code and use at least one electronics development board e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc
