SUMMARY:
Multi-product distributor and reseller with a presence in all major retails seeks to employ a Sourcing Specialist in the Electronic / Retail sector. This person will have strong exposure to researching and sourcing electronics locally and internationally, negotiating prices, working with local retailers, international suppliers (China) and brand management and marketing

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12 and completed Degree (Marketing, Business, Procurement)
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally (at least twice a year)
2 - 5 years experience in Electronic sourcing management
2 - 3 years brand management experience
No restraint of trade

Job Description:

Grow brand and product range in portfolio
Relationship building with buyers and decision makers from chain stores
Trend analysis and new product recommendations
Broaden existing product ranges
International sourcing
Pricing analysis and competitor analysis
International travel (trade expo''s)
Management of targets (Sales, Gross Margin, Profitability)
Prepare and formulate business plan and marketing plans
Grow sales channels
