JOB SUMMARY:
Join an exciting Renewable Energy company that is taking the Solar industry by storm. An ideal role for a young Electronics Engineer who enjoys the Solar industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist the Design Engineer with:
Design and development of prototype products, processes and technologies for systems/sub-systems based on product specifications by integrating and functional verification of electronic components
Testing by identifying requirements, executing component verification, designing test methods and equipment to evaluate concept electronic designs. Aforementioned is to be condensed and implemented into manufacturing as screening tests by means of test instructions and test jigs
Maintenance of designs matured into manufacturing by providing support and developing solutions to design/process issues incurred during manufacturing (incl. Continuous improvement of existing products – cost saving)

Skills & Experience
At least 2 years experience, preferably in an electronics development environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel experience in a technical manufacturing environment

Qualification:
BTech/NDip in Electrical Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
