SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Manufacturing industry is seeking a Electronic Technician to join them in Randburg, Gauteng. The individual must have a solid understanding of electrical schematics and be comfortable working with CAN-based Vehicle Control Units. The role places emphasis on project control and management of engineering documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) documentation.
- Â Use Microsoft Visio to create, edit, and update wiring diagrams Control Unit layouts.
- Support ERP system processes related to engineering and production workflows.
- Contribute to project control activities, including progress tracking, reporting, and coordination of deliverables.
- Â Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), ensuring accurate implementation and proper documentation.
- Â Oversee data pack management and verification, ensuring all project and customer requirements are met.
Minimum qualifications and experience:- BTech/BEng Electronic/Mechatronic engineering
- 2-3 years working experience
- Â Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Control Unit layouts.Â
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving ability. - Â Previous experience in project control or technical documentation is an advantage.
