Electronics Production Supervisor

Together with our client, an electronic manufacturing company in Pretoria East we are recruiting for an Electronic Production supervisor. The Ideal Candidate needs to have 3 – 5 years of management experience within an electronic manufacturing environment and must hold an Electronic/Management qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To plan workload, release kits and assign for an effective production run.
• To provide guidance to the operators and supervisor.
• To ensure the production schedules are met.
• To liaise with the project managers in determining the production schedule and advise on the volumes that can be achieved.
• To assist in any problems that occur during the production phase.
• To assist with any technical queries.
• To maintain discipline in the department and ensure procedures are followed.
• To perform first-off inspections.
• To coordinate and supervise shift work.
• Read and write technical reports, documents, and procedures.
• Advise and assist all buyers and the procurement manager with all technical queries on projects during the procurement and quotation process.
• Source or find acceptable alternatives that are obsolete, long lead times (6 weeks and longer), scarce or unobtainable within the desired time and price framework.
• To plan workload, release kits, and assign for an effective production run.
• To liaise with the project managers in determining the production schedule and advise on the volumes that can be achieved.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Matric
• 3-year Qualification (Electronic/Management)
• 3 – 5 years of management experience within an electronic manufacturing environment

Salary: R 12 000.00 – R 15 000.00 CTC per month
