SUMMARY:
OUR CLIENT is seeking an Email and SMS specialist responsible for executing content and management of email and SMS marketing tools and campaigns. This person must be able to work remotely with a strong and stable Internet connectivity (fibre is a plus).

Job Responsibilities
- Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
- Manage and execute email/SMS marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
- Use customer data such as web-behaviour to drive the message and content personalisation.
- Mitigate email and SMS frequency between program touchpoints to minimize database churn. This includes and not limited to marketing campaigns, triggered emails, promotional emails
- Perform render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure that emails are rendering correctly for most of the subscriber base.
- Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, conversions, profit, profit lift, unsubscribes and other metrics on request.
- Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers.
- Work with channel and product team to execute email and SMS strategy.
- Aid in the executing and development of a robust email calendar and creative updates across trigger, campaign, and transactional emails.
- Execute the email opt in/out strategies.
- Improve performance (open rate, click-through rate and conversion rate) through ongoing Email and SMS testing program and other qualitative driven testing methods
- Support the segmentation strategy, cadence, sequencing, and dynamic content rule/logic for all email/SMS efforts
- Create Email data appends and hygiene processes in partnership with IT
- Maintain and update email database and spreadsheet management
  Coordinate content for email sends
- Work with external vendors such as our Email and SMS Service Provider
- Execute email acquisition campaigns, manage list acquisition and tracking
  QA and test all email and SMS campaign, pull send files or approve counts and sign off on deployment of the campaigns
- Stay current with the latest trends in email and SMS marketing. Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and to enhance the brand
- Expected to report back on campaign performance on a weekly and monthly basis

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in email or SMS marketing
Proven track record of developing successful campaigns
Some experience working with Email service providers
Must have direct experience developing content calendars and assets
Able to work well under time constraints, possesses a strong detail-orientation and solid organizational skills
Strong presentation skills and comfort level in presenting to senior management.
