SUMMARY:
An expanding, next generation engineering company in Cape Town is looking for an adaptive and skilled software developer to join their expanding company. If you are a candidate with extensive embedded software experience, looking to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, apply!

POSITION INFO:

Embedded software development

Taking control of the software development for engineering products

Development, verification and maintenance of software using display hardware

Field and verification testing of hardware

Software development support on current production

Liaise with r hardware suppliers during product development

Be involved in telematics software development and associated field support and maintenance

Working directly with overseas client

Skills & Experience:

C++ in Linux and GIT development environments advantageous

Field testing and verification of embedded hardware

J1939 CAN bus experience

QT and QTML experience advantageous

CODESYS advantageous

Software certification processes advantageous

Qualification:

Minimum 1-5 years’ experience

BSc/BEng/BTech Electronic/ Mechatronic Engineering

Willing to travel oversees

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
