POSITION INFO:

Purpose of this Position;

Facilitate the Employee Benefit process ie Medcial Aid, Retirement funding Income, Death and Disability, Leave administration, Long Service Awards Administration, Injury on Duty and Employee Wellness Programmme. Reports to the Head of Talent management 

Qualification Requirement:

Grade 12 

Payroll Administration Diploma 

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing all Employee benefits
  • Must have experience using People SAGE 300 Payroll & WSS
  • Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong Admin experience     

 Candidate Characteristics:

  • Be able to communicate verbally and in writing with employees at all levels (including senior management/director level
  • Able to work under pressure & prioritise work commitments
  • Team player
  • Deadline driven
  • Strong data analysis skills

Compentencies: 

  • Ability to work with both people and data
  • Ability to work under pressure / 
  • Prioritise, dead line driven 

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectivly with staff, managers and Serviswe Providers
  • Team Player with strong leadership abilities
  • Ability to work with a minimal human supervision other than requirements per official procedures
  • Microsoft products-Vollkups, pivots, mail merging , reports, professional letter writing
  • Ability to effectively manage own time and hig volumes of admin related documentation
  • Anestablished reputation for professional descretion when dealing with confidential and employment information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.  

Key Responsibilities of This Role:

  • Admisistrating and managing the day to day function.
  • Updating and reconciliation of contribution payments.
  • Process withdrawls from the Retirement Funds, and medical Aid for registration, retirements , death and disability.
  • Attend to queries - both written and telefonic
  • Presenting to staff on request wherever administration are required
  • Assist HR in the facilitation of the industion process for employee benefits and advise employees of their benefit options and plans (where necessary)
  • Facilitate the application / removal of all members and their dependents
