Position Overview:

A global leader in the medical devices and diagnostics industry is seeking to appoint a proficient Marketing Lead – Information Solutions.

The Marketing Lead – Information Solutions’ main responsibility is to develop, communicate, and implement the ideal marketing strategy for the allocated product portfolio taking into account market intelligence and trends, in order to ensure optimum positioning, profitability and growth.  Work with internal and external partners and stakeholders to form strategic alliances for maximum market penetration.  To plan and drive the implementation of the integrated commercial or marketing plans. 

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree NQF 7/8 in the relevant field of Marketing, Business Management, Medical Sciences or similar
• A minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in a Marketing, Business Management, Medical Sciences field
• 5 - 8 years’ Management experience
• Business Orientation (product & industry, markets, customers, SOPs)
• SA and African country healthcare laws & regulations pertaining to function
• Specific technical/medical/therapeutic knowledge associated with relevant strategic products
• Strategic Marketing and Networking experience
• Presentation and facilitation skills
• Financial and business acumen (cost centre budgeting and management)
• High level networking, influencing, lobbying and negotiation skills
