We're recruiting on behalf of a South Africa-based client looking for a strategic and hands-on Energy Aftersales Manager. This is a senior-level opportunity for a business-savvy leader with engineering roots, service industry insight, and a passion for energy efficiency and customer success.

Job & Company Description:

As the Energy Aftersales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing aftersales and service business across Southern and East Africa. You’ll join a highly collaborative team, drive excellence in sales strategy, and represent the South African operation within a broader international service community.
Your focus will be on identifying market opportunities, developing business cases, coordinating large-scale service projects, and strengthening both direct and indirect sales networks. A strong digital mindset and a customer-first approach will be key to your success in this position.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

- Proven leadership experience in service sales, preferably in energy, industrial, or related sectors
- Professional background in sales, service sales, or sales management
- Experience with energy efficiency projects will be advantageous
- Strong people management or team leadership experience is essential
- Industry background in Mining, Minerals, Metals, Pulp & Paper, Power Generation, Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas, or Refrigeration – ideally Mining, Minerals, or Metals
- Familiarity with Heat Exchangers, Decanters, or High-Speed Separators (HSS) – ideally Heat Exchangers
- Strong business acumen: pricing strategy, contracts, market analysis, and customer development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, and presentation tools
- Educational background: Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (a business qualification is advantageous)
- A digital-first mindset with the ability to drive connected service offerings
