SUMMARY:
National concern has an opportunity for a candidate that has a Tertiary Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification. Also with previous experience in the energy and water savings optimisation industry.

POSITION INFO:
The role will be responsible for the designing, developing and evaluating of energy and water related projects with the aim to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency during the designing, building and modelling stages of the project
Focus will be on technical integrity as well as quality, compliance to standards, regulations and policies
There will be a requirement to investigate, identify and do M&V on projects
Prepare business cases, feasibility studies and assist in specification and procuring of solutions and guidance of the consulting engineers
Strategy Formulation - implement an energy optimisation strategy
Directly influence lower costs to operate
Sustainability Management
Risk Management

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Tertiary qualification (NQF 6 or NQF 7)
ECSA Registered
Certified Energy Manager Certification advantageous
Min. 5 years experience in the energy and water savings and optimisation industry
Experience in renewable and alternative energy type projects
