SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Engineering Draughtsperson (Senior) for a 3 month contract role based in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: - Civil 3D - Using data shortcuts, alignments, profiles, subassemblies, cross sections, basic quantity take-offs, compiling longitudinal sections and setting out data for all roads, building of road\/rail corridors, setting up drawings that include all the relevant data required for construction. - Setup of drawings to the required project standard - Compiling all civil engineering drawings - Standards for all drawings and quality control of all drawings prior to submission to clients - Gathering of information and project administration - Assisting with the design of associated rail, road, sewer, stormwater and water infrastructure - Building 3D surfaces from CSV, XML, contours, as well as other standard formats - Manipulating surfaces for various information needs - Slope and elevations analysis for surfaces - Record keeping and issuing of all drawings for approval, tender, construction and as-built purposes. - Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle. Requirements: - Candidate must have accredited AutoCAD and Civil3D training. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Qualifications & Experience: - Candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate - Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in drawings and experience in Civil 3D - Experience working on linear transport infrastructure such as railways. - Experience working on civil services will be advantageous Please call us on 0100300127 NB: Should you not hear from us within 6weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful
