Engineering Foreman

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for an Engineering Foreman to be based in the Burgersfort, Limpopo area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• N3 plus a recognised section 13 Trade Test is essential
• 3 years working experience as an artisan is essential
• Computer literacy (MS Office package) including SAP is essential
• Must be self-driven, highly motivated with good people skills
• Must maintain a high standard of work
• Must have good organizing and delegation skills
• Must be prepared to work overtime and standby
• Valid Medical Certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain one is essential

Duties:

• Supervising and assisting the team in the execution of all electrical and mechanical activities
• Supervising the engineering workshop and maintenance activities
• Maintaining control of engineering workshop, stores and mini sub-stations
• Diagnose and repair faults on equipment and machinery during production/operation
• Providing artisans with expertise assistance in solving technical problems
