SUMMARY:
A well-established international organisation within the defence and advanced technology industry is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Engineer to expand its global footprint and drive sustainable growth.

🎓 Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or related field)
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
Own reliable transport

🌍 Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding international market share by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

You will be required to engage with both local and international clients and represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and high-level engagements.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

🔎 Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification

Research and analyse international market trends
Identify and pursue new growth opportunities
Establish new client networks (local and international)

🤝 Client Engagement & Relationship Building

Develop and maintain high-level client relationships
Understand client operational needs and provide strategic solutions
Attend industry conferences and events

🛠 Solution & Proposal Development

Work closely with engineering teams to tailor solutions to client specifications
Prepare and present compelling proposals
Develop commercially viable growth strategies
Draft and manage contracts in compliance with applicable regulations

📊 Project Coordination

Oversee new projects from initiation through to delivery
Coordinate with marketing, compliance, and technical teams
Provide post-delivery client support and feedback

Detail-oriented with strong IT proficiency
Self-driven with a passion for closing new business
Willing to go the extra mile, including working across international time zones

Market-related remuneration (dependent on qualifications and experience)
