They are a thriving and stable IoT tech start up HQ''d in Manchester. Their cloud platform and mobile applications puts to reliable energy in the businesses and homes of 2 billion people in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.
The Role
They are looking to add an Engineering Team Lead who will help improve the lives of millions as you lead the architecture, development, and deployment of their products.
This role comes around as a result of a recent promotion, giving you the opportunity to come on board and lead a team of 3 Developer''s. They have plans to recruit more Developer''s which you can be part of, hand selecting your very own dream team.
You''ll take the Developers under your wing, manging, mentoring, and guiding them, whilst advocating for technical best practices and implement them within the team.
You''ll guide technical decisions, develop and support agile delivery processes, work closely with stakeholders across the business to plan for and meet deadlines, whilst remaining hands on and rolling up your sleeves when need be.

Your experience/ technical background
Their stack is varied, they definitely don''t expect you to know it all. Ideally, you''ll know how to design cloud software products with AWS, but experience with Azure or GCP would stand you in good stead.
You''ll have an understanding of high-level architectural design and patterns, leadership experience, and knowledge of a variety of languages/frameworks.
The team use a mix of - Python, Django, Rust, Node, Angular, Git in an Agile environment with a focus on TDD and Continuous Integration.
