A Mining company is seeking the expertise of a Engineering Manager

POSITION INFO:

TITLE: Engineering Manager – Asset & Maintenance Management (E1)

Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
GCC (Mines & Works)
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Mining industry
Training and/or suitable experience in Reliability Engineering principles and Condition Monitoring practices

Advantageous:

Tertiary training in Reliability Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

Reliability Engineering – Oversees the Central Reliability Engineer to improve the availability, reliability and operability of equipment and systems
Oversees the Condition Monitoring department, including the management of external skills
Responsibility for the management and potential upgrade of the CMMS (dMS)
Technical oversight of the Harmony Design Office
Quality Engineering
- Drafting of standards for Engineering procurement
- Management of team of quality assurers
- Warrantee claims
- Liaison with suppliers
- Inputs into various committees
Mechanical expert
- Consulting Mechanical Engineer for Harmony SA Operations
- Oversight of specialist mechanical work in the company
- Consulting on investigations
Reports to the Executive – Technical Services & Engineering
