Engineering Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an engineering manager for a client in the liquid natural gas industry.

POSITION INFO:
Are you an experienced engineering leader with a deep understanding of large-scale energy infrastructure? We're seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee multidisciplinary engineering activities in our Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) operations. 🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil) in the design, execution, and maintenance of LNG facilities.
• Oversee engineering deliverables throughout FEED, EPC, and operational support phases.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with international LNG standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management for the engineering team.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and third-party contractors.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, and value engineering exercises.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes (e.g., ASME, API, IEC, NFPA, ISO) and local regulatory requirements.
• Drive innovation in LNG facility design, reliability, and energy efficiency.

📚 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
• 10+ years of experience in engineering roles within the oil & gas or LNG industry.
• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams on large-scale capital projects.
• Strong understanding of LNG processes, cryogenic systems, and process safety.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
